This bag is handwoven by the indigenous Dayak people of Borneo using split rattan from Central Kalimantan, one of the only areas in the world where rattan is harvested in a sustainable way to preserve the forest.  Our artisan partners use centuries old weaving techniques, premium leather trim and batik print linings from Java.
