Ata Vine Handbag - Black

Our beautiful Ata Vine handbags are handcrafted by Balinese women who are master weavers working from their homes in the Tenganan Village in Eastern Bali. These talented women possess skils that have been passed down and perfected over many generations.  After the purses and bags are woven, they are dried under the sun, then hung over a fire for several days. The smoke and heat from the fire cures them, making them hard and durable and ensuring they will last a lifetime. The locals say that they will last one humddred years.   They are a treasure and work of art. Features leather strap and batik print lining.  6" tall, 4" wide and 8" across the front and back.
